Thus, the objectives of this study were to demonstrate the relevance of ClpB protein in potential anti-obesity effects of ClpB expressing bacteria and to preclinically validate Hafnia alvei (H.alvei) a food-grade, commensal specie of the Hafniaceae (formerly Enterobacteriaceae) family as a putative anti-obesity probiotic [16].
