Finally, to further justify the rationale for supplementation of ClpB-expressing probiotic in humans, we performed in silico analysis of the metagenomes from the human fecal microbiota samples of 569 healthy individuals available from the database of the MetaHIT consortium [17] and in which the prevalence of the E.coli ClpB gene was analyzed in relation to BMI and obesity. The gene discussed is CLPB; the disease is obesity disorder.
