MYC and neoplasm: It can induce tumour cell apoptosis, the mechanism of which is as follows: it increases intracellular ROS levels and regulates apoptosis-related genes such as c-myc, BCL-2, p53 and caspases. In our study, 2ME and As2O3 were used as HIF-1α inhibitors and ROS inducers to inhibit the proliferation and migration of MG63 cells, to promote the apoptosis of MG63 cells and to induce more ROS accumulation in cells.
