With respect to the type of IFN-β, in MS patients treated with IFN-β 1A and IFN-β 1B, SOCS5 transcript levels were significantly (p = 0.0001, p = 0.0003) higher (0.94 ± 0.05 and 0.91 ± 0.11) compared to SOCS7 transcript levels (0.48 ± 0.02) and (0.67 ± 0.02) (Figure 2C). This evidence concerns the gene IFNB1 and myeloid sarcoma.
