Previously, we reported on a urine-based bladder cancer associated diagnostic panel comprised of 10 targets: Alpha-1 Antitrypsin (A1AT), Apolipoprotein E (APOE), angiogenin (ANG), carbonic anhydrase 9 (CA9), Interleukin 8 (IL8), matrix metallopeptidase 9 (MMP9), matrix metallopeptidase 10 (MMP10), Plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (PAI1), Syndecan-1 (SDC1), and Vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGFA) [11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18]. This evidence concerns the gene MMP9 and urinary bladder cancer.
