Patient’s age and gender, CD4+ cell count, TB/HIV co-infection, WHO clinical stage of HIV/AIDS, type of TB, body mass index (BMI), type of antiretroviral therapy (ART) regimen, and history of OI- prophylaxis, viral load, or comorbid disease conditions and concomitant usage of co-medications were considered as independent variable and their effect were studied against the development of hepatotoxicity. Here, CD4 is linked to tuberculosis.
