CD44 and non-small cell lung carcinoma: To further investigate SRGN-elicited malignant phenotypes in NSCLC cells, in this study, we defined the compositions and sulfation patterns of GAGs in NSCLC-derived SRGN and showed that NSCLC-derived SRGN is heavily decorated with CS, and these CS-GAGs are engaged in CD44 binding and drive SRGN/CD44-elicited cell motility.
