We subsequently show that GNG12 promotes pancreatic cancer cell growth in vivo and in vitro, as evaluated using 3‐(4,5‐dimethylthiazol‐2‐yl)‐5‐(3‐carboxymethoxyphenyl)‐2‐(4‐sulfophenyl)‐2H‐tetrazolium, inner salt assays, colony formation assays and a xenograft mouse model. Here, GNG12 is linked to familial pancreatic carcinoma.
