In our study, neurological signs and sleep disorders appeared when mean cytorachia was greater than 16 cells/μL. We established cut-off points for neopterin and CXCL-13 related to the onset of clinical signs of the disease instead of using cytorachia but the neopterin and CXCL-13 cutsoff points were not discriminative enough to be used as diagnostic markers. Here, CXCL13 is linked to sleep disorder.
