As one of the second-generation ALK inhibitors, brigatinib (AP26113), approved by FDA in April 2017, is a highly selective and efficient ALK inhibitor to treat patients with ALK-positive metastatic NSCLC and can overcome the acquired crizotinib resistance to the first-generation ALK inhibitor, especially the L1196M gatekeeper mutation [9, 10]. Here, ALK is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
