Quantitative analysis of the immunostained sections indicated that the proportion of cells staining positive for CD8+ and Granzyme B (cytolytic cytokines against tumor) in the tumor microenvironment was significantly higher after combined treatment with lysates and anti-CTLA-4 IgG than after treatment with the PBS control (Fig. 8B); however, no statistical difference was observed among the lysate group, anti-CTLA-4 IgG group, and the combined group (p > 0.05).
