In this study, we have used multiplexed IHC and multispectral imaging to analyse the degree of infiltration of five different immune cells belonging to both the adaptive (CD20+ B lymphocytes, CD8+ cytotoxic T lymphocytes, and FOXP3+ T regulatory cells,) and the innate (CD68+ macrophages and CD66b+ neutrophils) immune system, in CRC tissue specimens. Here, FOXP3 is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
