Crude multivariate analysis indicated that the significant factors related to selection of BSC alone were: comorbidities of dementia, poor ECOG-PS, patients’ desire for BSC, wild type EGFR, comorbidities of pulmonary disease, high serum hemoglobin concentration, renal dysfunction, psychiatric disorders and hematological disorders, and presence of the relevant social background. Here, EGFR is linked to psychiatric disorder.
