Using LoVo CRC cells derived from metastatic tissue from a patient with adenocarcinoma of the colon, we demonstrate that CAR-T cells expressing the ScFv region of a humanized mAb directed at isoforms 2 and 4 of human DCLK1 (hCBT-15) reduced LoVo colon cancer xenograft growth by greater than 42 percent compared to mock CAR-T controls. The gene discussed is DCLK1; the disease is colon adenocarcinoma.
