Type II mixed cryoglobulinemia, originating from IgG-IgM complexes, is the primary manifestation in HCV patients, predominantly inducing type I membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis (MPGN) as a result of cryoglobulinemic vasculitis [10, 21]. Here, CD40LG is linked to primary membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis.
