RAPGEF2 and acute myeloid leukemia: Although equivalent resources for MDS and CMML were not available, analysis of clinical data from AML cohorts of The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) programme revealed that several of genes overlapping with the identified transcripts were prognostic of overall survival, with higher expression of CASC15, CDC25C and NLRX1 correlating positively and RAPGEF2, CORO1C, NDFIP1, DGKA, TMEM38B and PECAM1 correlating negatively with survival probability (Additional file 2: Figure S7).
