Several genetic alterations have been reported in NSCLC, but only three of them, namely-EGFR mutations, anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK)-rearrangements, and c-ros oncogene 1 (ROS1) have been approved for systemic therapy (Duréndez-Sáez et al., 2017). This evidence concerns the gene EGFR and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
