PIN1 and breast cancer: We found that both Pin1 protein and mRNA were up-regulated in tamoxifen-resistant MCF-7 (MCF-7R) and T47D (T47DR) cells, comparing to parental cells (Figures 1A–E and Supplementary Figure S5), which was consistent with previous reports that Pin1 was overexpressed in TAMR human breast cancer tissues (Namgoong et al., 2010; Khanal et al., 2012).
