The effect of JAK inhibitors on regulating the expression of ICAM-1 and PD-L1 mediated by IFN has been studied, and it was shown that JAK inhibitors may affect the progression of autoimmune or malignant diseases by inhibiting ICAM-1 expression (43, 44) and that they could act beneficially in malignant diseases by blocking PD-L1 and reinforcing in this way the effect of antineoplastic drugs on tumor cells (16, 45, 46). This evidence concerns the gene CD274 and neoplasm.
