Chong et al. (2011) found that 20 μg/kg triptolide exerts antihepatofibrotic effects in animal model of liver fibrosis. Triptolide inhibited the NF-κB signaling pathway in hepatic stellate cells. In addition, triptolide treatment reduced hepatic fibrosis scores in vivo. This evidence concerns the gene NFKB1 and Hepatic fibrosis.
