Taken together, these results strongly indicated that FoxP3 negatively regulated the expression of DR4 and DR5 in ESCC cells and tissues, and acted as a transcriptional repressor of DR4 and DR5, thus downregulation of FoxP3 by CPP increased the expression of them in ESCC. The gene discussed is TNFRSF10A; the disease is esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
