Similar to NSCLC, SRPK1 overexpression was also found in breast cancer clinical samples compared to normal breast tissue [22,32,35,36] and was correlated with higher grading [36], staging—once more, a significant association with all components of the TNM System (T, N, and M) was noted—and shorter survival at both univariate and multivariate levels [32]. This evidence concerns the gene SRPK1 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
