We found that contrary to HC, CD49d+CD154+ lymphocytes from RR-MS patients proliferated in response to myelin peptides (1% before stimulation vs. 73% after myelin stimulation), and only 2% of CD49d+CD154+ lymphocytes remained in the region of non-proliferating cells (CFSEhigh) (Figure 1B). The gene discussed is ITGA4; the disease is myeloid sarcoma.
