IL2 and infection: When compared with the control group, the following observations were made in the spleens of infected mice: levels of IL-2 were significantly decreased at 6 h, 30 h, and 3 d after infection, IL-4 levels were significantly decreased at 6 h after infection and increased at 6 dpi, and IL-10 levels were significantly decreased at 30 h and 3 d after infection.
