The gene alterations identified in non‐IBC confirmed the literature data (Banerji et al., 2012; Ellis et al., 2012; Ferrari et al., 2016; Nik‐Zainal et al., 2012a; Nik‐Zainal et al., 2016; Nik‐Zainal et al., 2012b; Shah et al., 2012; Stephens et al., 2012; Cancer Genome Atlas, 2012), that is, the most frequently altered genes including PIK3CA (39%), TP53 (34%), HER2 (13%), GATA3 (13%), KMT2C (11%), CDH1 (10%), and MAP3K1 (10%). Here, MAP3K1 is linked to inflammatory breast carcinoma.
