The fasting blood insulin (14.70(8.76–34.65) and 10.89(7.15–16.12), respectively, P = 0.031, Table 2) and HOMA-IR (1.78(1.07–4.14) and 1.30(0.83–1.89), respectively, P = 0.024, Fig. 1b) were higher in the vitamin D deficiency group than those in the vitamin D non-deficiency group. The gene discussed is INS; the disease is vitamin D deficiency.
