miR-30c reduces hyperlipidaemia by inhibiting microsomal triglyceride transfer protein (MTTP) to restrict assembly and secretion of apoB lipoproteins and lysophosphatidylglycerol acyltransferase 1 (LPGAT1) to inhibit de novo lipogenesis, leading to decreased levels of plasma total and LDL cholesterol [21].
