The 6 proteins were part of 4 different clusters of the INCA network: C3 belonged to cluster 3, associated with G protein signalling; MAPK5 belonged to cluster 6, associated with diseases of the immune system; CATS belonged to cluster 9, associated with the cell cycle; and MMP1 and MMP7 belonged to cluster 13, associated with extracellular matrix organization.
