Notably, of 39 non-synonymous variants on 31 genes, three genes, Cadherin 16 (CDH16) and Cadherin 6 (CDH6), and Solute Carrier Family 39 Member 7 (SLC39A7) have been known to be involved in several carcinogenesis (renal cell carcinoma, p < 0.01; estrogen-receptor positive breast cancer and nephrogenic adenoma, p < 0.05). This evidence concerns the gene CDH16 and breast cancer.
