We examined expression levels of genes associated with the AKT signaling such as mTOR and the BCL2 superfamily in cholangiocarcinoma organoids under glucose-free condition after treatment with LY294002, but there was no significant difference in the expression levels of these genes by inhibition of AKT phosphorylation (Supplementary Figure S2). This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and cholangiocarcinoma.
