After adjustment for the difference in BMI using multiple regression analyses, patients with obesity remission and high BF% had higher insulin concentration (P = 0.044), HOMA-IR (P = 0.021), TG concentration (P = 0.013), subcutaneous fat cell volume (P < 0.0001), and android-to-gynoid as well as EVAT-to-total fat mass ratios (P = 0.0032 and 0.0003 respectively), and the M value expressed per body mass remained lower (P = 0.0046), see Table 1 and Fig. 3.
