TP53, RB1 and MYC are usually considered to be mutated in small‐cell lung cancer (SCLC).56, 57 Because of the opposite effect of MYC and TP53 in the CDKN1A regulation, the inactivation of TP53 may interfere with MYC‐based targeted therapies.
