All analyzed genes, except FBLN2, were associated with at least one term linked to atherosclerosis-related disease or risk factor, including heart failure, stroke, body weights and measures, cardiovascular, cholesterol LDL (low density lipoproteins), myocardial infarction, synthesis of phosphatidylglycerol, tobacco use disorder, type 2 diabetes, and obesity. The gene discussed is FBLN2; the disease is obesity due to melanocortin 4 receptor deficiency.
