As shown in Figure 2, flow cytometry demonstrated that the expression (in terms of the percentage of positive cells) of AdipoR1 and AdipoR2 on the surface of CD19+ B cells, CD19+CD27+ activated B cells, CD3-CD56+ NK cells, and CD14+ monocytes (Figures 2A,B) was higher in treatment-naïve CVID patients than in healthy controls. This evidence concerns the gene CD14 and common variable immunodeficiency.
