CDK14 and nasopharyngeal carcinoma: CDK15 gene maps to chromosome 2q33.1 and has an important paralog gene, CDK14. A recent research found that Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) integration into the introns can decrease the expression of CDK15 gene in nasopharyngeal carcinomas, implicating that downregulation of CDK15 may contribute to tumor development (44).
