NFATC3 and gastric cancer: We have shown that RAG1 is a direct target of NFATc3 and that increased expression of NFATc3 in gastric cancer cells suppresses the expression of RAG1 to prevent cell death, while arsenic sulfide inhibits NFATc3 through ROS to induce the expression of RAG1 and increase DSB, leading to increased cell death (Fig. 8).
