This analysis revealed that cell lines that expressed high levels of LMO1 exhibited higher levels of H3K27ac signal at LMO1-bound regions, suggesting that these cell lines have a more similar cell identity to Kelly cells, as compared with the cell lines which express low levels of LMO1. These results indicated that LMO1 associates with distinct genomic regions in neuroblastoma and T-ALL cells, which primarily coincide with chromatin marks of activated gene expression. The gene discussed is LMO1; the disease is acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
