Interestingly, two of the genes associated with schizophrenia (LINC00333 [Goes et al., 2015] and NCKAP5 [Draaken et al., 2015]) and PSD3 have also been associated to traits related to urinary and blood metabolite levels, metabolic traits, and triglyceride levels (Raffler et al., 2015; Teslovich et al., 2010; Shin et al., 2014; Rueedi et al., 2014). This evidence concerns the gene NCKAP5 and schizophrenia.
