CRP and disseminated peritoneal leiomyomatosis: We found a significant reduction of SUA and CRP in patients treated with LPD and inulin (p = 0.018 and p = 0.003, respectively) but not in patients treated with LPD only, and there was a significant increase in serum bicarbonate both in patients treated only with LPD (HCO3− at T0: 20.32 ± 2.42; HCO3− at T1: 23.88 ± 2.81; p = 0.026) or with LPD and inulin (HCO3− at T0: 22.17 ± 2.39; HCO3− at T1: 25.01 ± 2.22; p = 0.01).
