CD84 and breast neoplasm: In fact, in TCGA data 5 out of the 38 genes of our interest were associated with worse prognosis (overall survival or risk of recurrence), namely, PSMD7, C2, IFNAR1, CD84, and CYLD. None of the corresponding proteins is currently included in the routine histopathology for breast tumor, thus they need to be validated at the protein level in a large cohort of patients in order to prove their clinical importance and diagnostic applicability.
