After 6 h of cold exposure, the rate of decrease in rectal temperature was slower in SD rats treated with COST, COSM, and CTS than in that of HFD rats, and the rate of decrease was significantly lower in the COST group than in the HF group, further suggesting that COST, COSM, and CTS increased the heat production of obese rats (Figure 1H).
