A potential side effect in targeting MST1 for autoimmune T1D lies in the development of lymphopenia, granulocytopenia, and immunodeficiency reported in patients with biallelic MST1 deficiency11; however, signs of immunodeficiency, infections, or lymphopenia have not been described under neratinib therapy in a recent systematic review12. This evidence concerns the gene MST1 and lymphopenia.
