All six thermogenes appear to be significantly overexpressed in breast cancer (HSPA1A, HSPA4), gliomas (DNAJB5), ovarian cancers (HSPA4, DNAJB5), pancreatic cancers (HSP90AA1), prostate cancer (HSP90AB1), thymic carcinoma (BAG1, HSP90AA1), and uterine cancers (HSPA4), as compared to normal tissue (Figure 3). This evidence concerns the gene DNAJB5 and prostate carcinoma.
