In the present study, a high Max GD was associated with numerous factors, namely, blood pressure; serum triglyceride, IgA, C4, and urinary β2-microglobulin levels; IgA/C3 ratio; ratio of hyperuricemia as a comorbidity; and ratio between immunosuppressant use and calcium-channel blocker use, which were higher in the high Max GD group than in the low Max GD group. The gene discussed is CD79A; the disease is hyperuricemia.
