TAK1 and its binding partners (TAB1, TAB2 or TAB3) are key signalling components of nuclear factor‐κB (NF‐κB) and mitogen‐activated protein kinase (MAPK) signalling pathways.14 TAK1 is involved in the regulation of inflammation through its phosphorylation and activation of the IkB kinase (IKK)‐NF‐κB complex and MAPK kinase.15, 16, 17 However, whether microRNA‐143 mitigates liver inflammation and fibrosis by targeting the TAK1 in AIH is still not known. Here, NFKB1 is linked to autoimmune hepatitis.
