ICC helped to differentiate BN/LG-M lesion from HG-M neoplasms in 36.8% of cases and provided the definitive diagnosis in 23.7% of cases (either by negative pancytokeratin staining indicating the absence of epithelial cells, the presence of mixed B and T reactive lymphocytes or the low percentage (<5%) of Ki67 positive cells). Here, MKI67 is linked to intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma.
