To determine the role of IGF2BP2 in pancreatic cancer, we ectopically expressed IGF2BP2 in BXPC-3 cells (Fig. S3A) and found that IGF2BP2 promoted cell proliferation, as detected by MTT assays (Fig. 2a) or cell survival as determined by colony formation assays (Fig. 2b). Here, IGF2BP2 is linked to familial pancreatic carcinoma.
