ZNF667-AS1 was expressed in all normal finite lifespan human cells, and was lost in immortalized human mammary epithelial cells (HMEC) and in 22 of 33 of The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) cancer types, including cervical cancer, cancers of esophagus, stomach cancer, bile duct carcinoma, mesothelioma, sarcoma, and uterine carcinosarcoma11–14.
