A large number of studies have shown that UHRF1 is highly expressed in a variety of malignant tumor tissues, including breast cancer, bladder cancer, and prostate cancer (Geng et al., 2013; Ying et al., 2015; Wan et al., 2016; Li J. et al., 2019) and that it is involved in tumorigenesis and cancer progression (Alhosin et al., 2011, 2016).
