IL22 is a cytokine belonging to the IL10 family and is preferentially expressed in the subset of Th17 cells.14 IL22 is produced by CD4 T cells at high levels, and by NK cells at low levels.15 Increasing of this cytokines can be seen in some immunosuppressive diseases such as interstitial lung disease, etc16 Reportedly, exogenously added human IL22 recombinant protein can increase the expression of MUC1 in tumor's inflammatory microenvironment.17 This evidence concerns the gene IL22 and interstitial lung disease.
