Patients with higher staining intensity (> 2) of PHF14 had worse median overall survival in both GBM and LGG: (1) TCGA-LGG, PHF14 low (105.1 months) vs. high (65.7 months), P < 0.005; (2) TCGA-GBM, PHF14 low (14.3 months) vs. high (13.3 months), P = 0.17; (3) REMBRANDT-GBM, PHF14 low (18.2 months) vs. high (13.4 months), P < 0.001) (Fig. 1i–k). The gene discussed is PHF14; the disease is glioblastoma.
